1. Welcome
Inner Study provides personal and professional development tools, including the ENIA™ (Enneagram Natural Inclination Assessment), AI-generated interpretations, group programs (“Circles”), and related services. By using Inner Study, you agree to these terms.
2. Your Account
You’re responsible for your account and the information you provide. Use a valid email address you control. Don’t share your login credentials. You can delete your account at any time by contacting us.
3. The ENIA™ Assessment
The ENIA™ is a self-discovery tool, not a clinical diagnostic instrument. Your results reflect patterns in your responses at a point in time — they suggest, never diagnose. Assessment results should not be used as the basis for employment decisions, clinical diagnosis, or any form of discrimination. Inner Study is not a healthcare provider and does not offer medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice.
4. AI-Generated Interpretations
Your ENIA™ results include an AI-generated interpretation powered by Anthropic’s Claude. These interpretations are educational and reflective in nature. They are not professional advice of any kind. The AI may occasionally produce inaccurate or incomplete information. Use your own judgment and consult qualified professionals for clinical, legal, or financial decisions.
5. Payment and Refunds
Payments are processed securely through Stripe. Assessment purchases are non-refundable once results have been generated. If you experience a technical issue that prevents you from accessing your results, contact us and we’ll make it right.
6. Your Content and Data
You retain ownership of any content you create on Inner Study (journal entries, reflections, notes). We store your data securely and don’t sell it to third parties. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how we collect, use, and protect your information.
7. Group Programs and Sharing
When you participate in a group program (“Circle”), your completion status may be visible to the program administrator. Your assessment results are never shared with anyone — including program administrators, facilitators, or other participants — without your explicit consent. You control what you share and with whom.
8. Acceptable Use
Don’t use Inner Study to harass others, submit false information, attempt to access other users’ data, reverse-engineer our scoring algorithms, or redistribute assessment content. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.
9. Intellectual Property
The ENIA™, its scoring methodology, question content, and AI interpretation prompts are proprietary to Inner Study. The Enneagram system itself is not owned by anyone — our specific implementation of it is. You may share your own results as you choose, but you may not reproduce or distribute the assessment itself.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
Inner Study is provided “as is.” We work hard to keep things running smoothly, but we don’t guarantee uninterrupted service or error-free results. We’re a small team building something we believe in — not a corporation with a legal department larger than our engineering team.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Inner Study’s liability for any claim related to our service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms as Inner Study evolves. We’ll notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notice. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
